Proposed Project Description

What will you build?

I want to build a funstional website that can be accessed by anyone from anywhere. The website would have content pertaining to the work that I have done in my Interactive media class in my during my Masters' peiod at UTS. I reckon my website would contain the following pages:-

    • Homepage [...]
    • Photogallery/My Images [...]
    • Resume/Portfolio page [...]
    • Feedback page [...]
    • Contact page [...]

Who is it for?

It is for me to learn how well I can manipulate technologies to make my own portfolio. And to verify how well I am able to meet and blen creativity with course objectives.

What technologies will it use?

I will start with HTML, XHTML, CSS, some client side technologies, but that depends on the time constraint besides project requirements.

How does it satisfy your learning objectives? (sketches, wireframes, architecture, diagrams etc)

It meets my learning objectives if the project can meet the criteria of standard web sites for SMEs [the details(IA) I shall update in the following sessions of class].

I will follow kelly 2005, 2nd edn. for structure and development of the site as references.

Stage 1: Discovery or definition of project.
Stage 2: Develop site structure and developing the HTML protosite server side

programming.
Stage 3: Design visual interface and integration with server side technologies.
Stage 4: Review of feedback and testing the functionalities.
Stage 5: Update the site and go live.
